1. Introduction

PhoneKingz (“PhoneKingz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website phonekingz.com and the related storefront, customer portal, influencer portal and batch drop experiences (collectively, the “Services”). We sell professionally inspected, refurbished mobile phones, tablets and accessories. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.

By using the Services you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you create an account, place an order, start a return, contact support, enter a batch drop, subscribe to messages or apply to our influencer program, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, order contents, return reasons, device trade-in details, social handles, payout preferences and any content you type into a form or message.

Order and payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. We receive from Shopify a limited record of each transaction, which may include the order number, items purchased, order totals, currency, financial and fulfillment status, discount or promotional codes applied, the last four digits of a card, and shipping and tracking data.

Account and portal data. If you create a PhoneKingz account we store your profile record (name, email, phone, address fields), your saved devices, your submitted return requests and their status history, and the role assigned to your account (customer or administrator).

Device and usage information. When you visit the Services we automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type and screen size, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, and approximate location derived from IP address.

Cookies and similar technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, secure the site, prevent fraud, measure traffic and understand how the Services are used.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from Shopify (orders, customers, fulfillment), from authentication providers when you choose social sign-in, from analytics providers, from carriers regarding shipments, and from fraud-prevention services.

Sensitive information. We do not seek to collect government identifiers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health data, or information about children. Please do not send such information to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to operate and provide the Services, including to create and maintain your account, present products and inventory, process and fulfill orders, arrange delivery, communicate order and shipment status, verify and process returns, exchanges and warranty claims, and issue refunds or replacements.

We also use information to authenticate users and secure accounts; to detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, code-sharing violations and other unlawful activity; to administer batch drops, gift codes, promotional codes and influencer commissions; to provide customer support and respond to your requests; to personalize what you see, such as saved devices and recently viewed products; to measure and improve our website, product photography, catalogue accuracy and inspection process; to prepare internal reports and business analytics; and to comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.

With your permission where required, we use your contact details to send marketing communications about drops, restocks, discounts and brand news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on: performance of a contract with you (to fulfill orders and returns), our legitimate interests (to secure, improve and market the Services in a proportionate way), your consent (for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and consumer-protection records).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.

Service providers and processors. We share information with vendors who perform services for us, including Shopify (commerce, checkout, order records), payment processors, hosting and database providers, email and messaging providers, shipping carriers and logistics partners, analytics providers, and fraud-prevention services. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.

Influencer and drop partners. When you redeem a promotional or gift code tied to an influencer, aggregate and order-level performance data (order number, date, discounted amount, commission earned) is made available to that influencer through the influencer portal. We do not share your full address or payment details with influencers.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our customers or the public.

Business transfers. If PhoneKingz is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

Aggregated and de-identified data. We may create and share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5. Cookies and Tracking Choices

Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, maintain your cart across pages and gate password-protected areas such as our asset repository. The Services cannot function properly without them.

Analytics and performance cookies help us understand which pages and products perform well. Marketing cookies, where used, help measure the effectiveness of campaigns and drops.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break checkout, sign-in and the return portal. We honor Global Privacy Control and similar browser-based opt-out preference signals where legally required.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Order, return and tax records are generally retained for at least the period required by applicable commercial and tax law, typically up to seven years. Account profiles are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle warranty and dispute claims. Support messages are retained for up to three years. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it so it can no longer be associated with you.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, role-based administrative access, hashed access credentials for gated portals, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@phonekingz.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and applicable regulators as required by law and without undue delay.

8. Your Privacy Rights

United States (including California). Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access a copy of that information; to correct inaccurate information; to request deletion; to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information; and to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights. California residents may exercise these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under sixteen.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Making a request. Email support@phonekingz.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity using information already associated with your account or orders, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may still require verification directly from you.

9. International Transfers

PhoneKingz operates in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for cross-border transfers.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for people aged eighteen and older, and are not directed to children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@phonekingz.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Third-Party Links and Social Platforms

The Services link to third-party sites and platforms, including Shopify checkout, social media profiles used for live drops, and carrier tracking pages. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices. Review their notices before providing information to them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. If changes are material we will provide additional notice, such as an on-site banner or an email to registered users. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.

13. Contact Us

Questions, requests or complaints about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information can be sent to PhoneKingz, Privacy Team, support@phonekingz.com. We aim to acknowledge every privacy request within ten business days.
